Today I’m posting my first ever gift guide and it’s all about cookbooks. As you may very well be aware of I have an obsession with cookbooks. I own around 40 of them. I read them like a novel and look at them over and over again. My wish list of cookbooks rivals my wish list of makeup.
This cookbook gift guide is all about my absolute favorite cookbooks. These are not the latest and greatest, but will be winners with any cookbook lover in your life.
Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up.
Seriously Delish by Jessica Merchant. This cookbook is packed with over 150 recipes and Jessica’s trademark humor. All of the recipes are doable for the average cook and the photography will make you drool. Jessica sprinkles her cookbook with advice and great stories, definitely for the one who reads cookbooks like a novel.
The Food Nanny Rescues Dinner by Liz Edmunds. This cookbook is perfect for the person who struggles with meal planning. This cookbook helped me develop my meal planning skills. The Food Nanny shares her in-depth meal planning philosophy and process. There are lots of great recipes that go with her meal planning process. Great for the amateur cook.
Budget Bytes by Beth Moncel. I love the premise of this cookbook. It’s all about cooking on a budget. Beth provides a practical pantry list that anyone can afford and fabulous do-it-yourself recipes. This cookbook is perfect for the cook who wants to cook tasty meals on a budget.
The Big Book of Side by Rick Rodgers. I love this cookbook because I am the worst at coming up wtih creative side dishes. There are 100’s of recipes and tips and tricks to help the cook master the side dish. Perfect for the creative cook.
The Picky Palate Cookbook by Jenny Flake. This cookbook is my most used cookbook out of the 5. Jenny presents recipes that are simple, but packed with flavor. Kids and adults will love all the recipes in this cookbook. Perfect for moms and new cooks.
