Appletini the perfect mix of sweet and sour.

A couple of weeks ago we stopped for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and they had this great looking Appletini on the menu. I’m a sucker for a good martini. Of course,  I had to try it. It was a great combination of sweet and sour.  The sour part was almost to the point where you pucker up when you drink it and then you get a sweet note in there. It was delicious.

I knew this was going to be a drink that I would want to make at home.  I sent my guy on a quest to make me the perfect Appletini. After several attempts he came up with perfect drink.

This is a fun drink for your St. Patrick’s Day festivities. I know I’ll be having one.

  • 1 oz Absolut Citron
  • 1½ oz Sweet and Sour Schnapps (I used Sour Apple Pucker)
  • 1 oz sweet and sour mix
  • 1 tsp. simple syrup or corn syrup
  • crushed ice
  1. Add ice to your shaker.
  2. Add all ingredients listed above.
  3. Shake and strain into a martini glass.
