These cookies are so delicious. There’s just something about chocolate, caramel and sea salt that just tastes so dang good.
I had the wonderful opportunity to try out Pillsbury’s new Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Seriously…this dough is delicious and super easy to use and is gluten free. Perfect for the holidays, especially if you have guests coming over that need a gluten free dessert.
Just in time for the holidays,Pillsbury has released three new Gluten Free dough products: pizza dough, chocolate chip cookie dough and a pie/pastry dough. All three come in convenient, refrigerated containers and are available in all major grocery stores.
I love refrigerated dough’s because it eliminates the need to thaw out your dough when the inspiration to make something or you forget to take something out for dinner. I have no idea who would ever do that…ahem. Guilty!
If you worried that a gluten free product will taste different be rest assured it doesn’t. Truly, these cookies don’t taste any different than a cookie dough with gluten. We gobbled these cookies up in no time.
These GF Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies are so easy to make and you know how I am about desserts, easy and simple is best.
All you need is the Pillsbury GF Chocolate Chip Cookie dough, some Rolo’s, and sea salt. That’s it.
To make you take a cookie scoop, scoop out the cookie dough and place on a cookie sheet.
Next, take your thumb and press a little indentation into the cookie dough and then place an unwrapped Rolo in the middle.
Cook for 11-13 minutes. Once you take the cookies out of the oven take some sea salt and sprinkle over the cookies. Let cool.
These cookies are super, super easy and who doesn’t love that.

- 1 tub of Pillsbury's Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1 bag of Rolo's
- Sea Salt
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Take a cookie scoop and scoop out cookie dough and place each individual scoop on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Take your thumb and make an indent in the center of each cookie.
- Place an unwrapped Rolo in the center of each cookie.
- Cook for 11-12 minutes.
- Immediately after taking the cookies out of the oven sprinkle them with the sea salt.
- Let cool.
