Easy French Bread Pizza #SundaySupper

Pizza night doesn’t get much easier than with this Easy French Bread Pizza.

Easy French Bread Pizza - Confessions of a Cooking Diva

We love pizza in our house and I do mean we LOVE pizza. It’s basically a weekly staple in our house. Each week we mix it up, sometimes we get it delivered, occasionally it’s frozen(I know, I know!) and sometimes it’s homemade or homemadish…like this recipe.

Did you know that October is National Pizza Month? No? Me neither, but Sunday Supper Movement did and decided to host a party full of pizza recipes. They all look so good and now I have a great list of pizza recipes to choose from.

Easy French Bread Pizza - Confessions of a Cooking Diva

This French Bread Pizza is super easy. No dough to make and yet it tastes just like a homemade pizza. I simple buy a loaf of french bread, cut it down the middle and flatten each side by pressing down on it with your hands. I even pull some of the bread out of the middles so it’s not too thick. You don’t want to much bread or it will overwhelm the toppings. Next, I mix together some butter, garlic, olive oil and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. I brush this over both slices of french bread and then bake the slices for 10-12 minutes or until the bread starts to look toasty. I will then pull the bread out of the oven and cover with the pizza sauce of my choice and whatever toppings we have chosen. Then back into the oven it goes for another 7 minutes or so.

Super easy! I love the crispiness of the crust and the butter/garlic mixture gives the pizza another layer of flavor. You can add any toppings you want, get as creative as your heart desires.

Enjoy!
