Crockpot Asian Honey Chicken

crockpot asian honey chicken - confessions of a cooking diva

Crockpot Asian Honey Chicken should come with a warning label. They are super addicting. My husband and I gobbled down the whole batch of chicken in one dinner. Yikes! But they were so freaking good.

I love to cook chicken in the crockpot. Drumsticks are my favorite so I’m always trying new ways to cook them. This recipe came about by me mixing a few recipes I found online. Thank goodness it turned out perfectly.

To Make

  1. In a small sauce pan combine ketchup, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
  2. Place chicken in crockpot and pour sauce over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds right before serving.

Tips

  • I used drumsticks, but you could use chicken breasts. I would check the check at around 5 hours to see if it’s cooked. Chicken breasts can be easily overcooked in the crockpot.
  • Be sure to provide lots of napkins because these are sticky and messy. Perfect if you ask me.
