Romantic Dinner For Two

romantic dinner for two - confessions of a cooking diva

I love Valentine’s Day! I admit it. I love everything about it the decor, the sweets, the cute cards to show someone you love them and of course the food. I swear food is a huge part of every celebration in our house.

We don’t usually go crazy for Valentine’s Day. Usually we exchange cards and have a nice dinner. Sometimes we cook and sometimes we go out. We keep it pretty simple and fun.

Today I’m sharing with you the perfect Valentine’s Day dinner for two. These dishes are simple and easy to prepare. May I suggest you and your significant other make dinner together. Very fun and romantic.

Confessions of a Cooking Diva

Appetizer – Grab some crusty bread and this balsamic dipping sauce.  It’s a great way to start a romantic dinner.

Balsamic and Cream Pork Chops for Two - Confessions of a Cooking Diva

Main Dish – These Balsamic and Cream Pork Chops with Mushrooms are so decadent and quick to put together. A great way to impress a loved one.

roasted fingerling potatoes

Side Dish – Roasted Fingerling Potatoes make for an elegant side dish and packed full of flavor. A great compliment to the cream and balsamic vinegar in the pork chops.

slow cooker chocolate mousse

Dessert – Finish the night with a gloriously decadent chocolate mousse. Start this in the slow-cooker right before you start dinner and by the time you are ready for dessert it will be ready too.

french kiss martini

Cocktail – What romantic dinner doesn’t include a fun cocktail. This French Kiss Martini is the best and has even been featured on the Today show’s Pinterest page last year. It’s a hit.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
