Garlic Roasted Asparagus

garlic roasted asparagus

I love garlic roasted asparagus! It’s pretty much the only way I’ll eat asparagus. I made this for our Christmas dinner last Christmas and it was a hit.

This is a really easy recipe to put together. Great for those busy nights when you don’t want to wait an hour for dinner to be ready.

To Make:

1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Pull out a rimmed baking sheet and line it with foil. This will help keep the mess to a minimum.

2. Wash your asparagus and chop off the tough ends. If you want them nice and even then cut them. I just break off the end where it bends. Discard the ends. Pat dry the asparagus.

3.Place the dried asparagus on the foil covered baking sheet. Drizzle with the olive oil, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Roll the asparagus around allowing each peace to get really coated with the olive oil and seasonings.

4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. They should be lightly browned and fork tender. Serve immediately.

This will be the best asparagus you have ever eaten and if your kids love garlic then they will enjoy this too.

Enjoy!
