This Crockpot Beef Stew is one of the first dishes I learned to make when I moved away from home. My mom made this dish while I was growing up and I loved it and still love it to this day.

It’s a great dish for those winter months because it’s so hearty and full of flavor. You only need 5 ingredients plus the noodles and you are set for dinner.

I love Crockpot dishes, but I don’t use it very often. Do you like to use the Crockpot? Do you have a favorite dish? My goal in the new year is to come up with more dishes for my Crockpot.

Crockpot Beef Stew
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • ½ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 lbs. stew meat
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. noodles
  1. Mix all the ingredients above, minus the noodles, and put into the crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  4. Serve the beef stew over the noodles.

  2. This looks great! I’m pinning and making–I LOVE the crockpot, other than having to clean it! (But I guess that’s the case with every dish, pot and pan!) My husband will love this.
