Cinnamon French Toast

cinnamon french toast

I am a morning person. I am not a morning cook. I have no idea why, but I just can’t get it together in the morning, whether it be a weekday or a weekend, to make something of any substance.

Until now.

I recently discovered cinnamon bread. Makes the best toast, but even better, it makes the best french toast.

It’s so easy and takes just a few minutes to make, perfect for the non-morning cook.

Ingredients

Cinnamon bread. Use as many slices as you need.

2 to 3 eggs, depending on how many slices you are going to use.

Milk

Vanilla

Directions

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt butter in the skillet.

2. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, some milk and a splash of vanilla.

3. Dunk each slice of bread in the mixture and then add it to the skillet.

4. Cook until done. Serve with butter and real maple syrup.

Enjoy!

  1. I LOVE french toast and especially when it’s full of cinnamon flavor- I would have never even thought to use cinnamon swirl bread- so clever! Stopping by from BYBC13 🙂
